About
I'm a self-taught painter working in mixed media — bold linework, expressive color blocking, gestural mark-making. I came to painting through my grandfather's inherited supplies and learned most of what I know by getting it wrong first.
My work looks for what's underneath the ordinary — the accident that becomes identity, the overlooked object that turns out to be proof of something. I paint to free myself of ego. I paint to bring my imagination into tangible objects.
